Gunite pools are a popular choice for swimming pools because they are durable and can be built in any shape or size. A gunite pool is created by spraying a mixture of sand, cement and water onto the surface of the pool. This creates a dense and durable surface that can withstand heavy use and perfect for staying cool in the hot Palm Coast weather.
How are gunite pools built from start to finish?
First the site area needs to get prepped by capping any water irrigation lines and removing the sod from where the future pool and deck will be built.

Stakes and wooden forms are used to work on the exact layout of the new pool and excavation can be completed.

Next comes plumbing and steel framing.

Next is what we like to call “shooting the shell” which is the process of spraying the gunite mixture onto the surface of the pool to create a durable and long-lasting finish.

Plumbing, electrical, and gas lines are laid out and grading for proper deck elevation is completed next.

Next our tile and mason professionals work on the waterline tiles, coping, and water features (such as this custom grotto).

All our pool decks are travertine over a concrete sub deck.

Next all pool equipment gets installed and wired.

And after the final steps of installing screen enclosure and finishing the pool interior with our lifetime warranty plaster, your new back yard oasis is ready to be enjoyed.
