Ever look at your backyard and think, “This pool has seen better days”?

That’s exactly how this older pool in Palm Coast was before we stepped in. The old hex pavers were stained, the plaster was tired, and the overall space didn’t reflect the Florida lifestyle homeowner wanted.

So, we rolled up our sleeves and gave this backyard a complete Palm Coast pool remodel; new travertine deck, new waterline tile, and a stunning new interior finish.

The results? A pool that feels like a private resort in the heart of Flagler County.

Out With the Old

The first thing we noticed was the deck.
The hexagon concrete pavers were stained, uneven, and just made the whole area look dated.

The pool shell itself had aged plaster with no sparkle left, and the waterline tile was past its prime.

It was functional, sure. But it wasn’t the relaxing, tropical retreat this backyard deserved.

Luv Tile Bay Water Waterline Tile

For the waterline, we installed Luv Tile Bay Water 6×6.

This tile captures rich, ocean-inspired blues and pairs perfectly with the Caribbean plaster we added. It frames the pool beautifully, giving it that “just-stepped-into-paradise” feel.

Ivory Travertine Paver Deck in Palm Coast

We replaced the old pavers with Ivory Travertine pavers in a French Pattern layout.

Travertine is a favorite choice for Palm Coast pool decks for a few reasons:

  • Cooler surface under the Florida sun
  • Natural stone variation for that luxury, resort look
  • Durability to handle Flagler County weather year-round

The French Pattern layout brings texture and movement to the deck without being overwhelming. It’s a subtle design detail that makes a big difference.

Wet Edge Signature Matrix Caribbean Finish

For the interior, we went with Wet Edge Signature Matrix Caribbean—a pebble aggregate finish built to handle the Florida lifestyle.

Why homeowners in Palm Coast love this finish:

  • Deep, tropical water color with natural shimmer
  • Stronger, longer-lasting surface compared to plain plaster
  • Smooth feel underfoot with added grip for safety

Once we filled the pool, the water turned that striking blue-green that practically begs you to jump in.
